BIO

Mark R. Dyke

Mark has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry providing client-focused leadership and management. With a focus on technology he has held positions as a Field Representative, Superintendent, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Estimator, Preconstruction Manager, Senior Virtual Construction and Design Coordinator, and Manager of Virtual Design and Construction.

After being sought out to share his knowledge in the area of construction technology as an Adjunct Professor for several years, Mark transitioned into teaching full time at Ferris State University in the Construction Technology and Management Program. With a focus on construction technology, Mark is teaching and training the next generation of construction professionals using the same skills and abilities that made him successful in the construction industry.

Mark was one of the first in the State of Michigan to earn the Building Information Modeling (BIM) certification from the Associated General Contractors of America. In addition to providing consulting and BIM services, he provides speaking services to various companies, organizations, and groups on the topic of construction technology. He provides the leadership and sense of teamwork needed to convert a project from conception to completion, with a focus on efficiency and technology. The results are evident in his history with repeat customers who come to him for their construction needs.

In addition to construction technology, Mark is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan and provides mental health training and services. He operates a private practice where he helps people with relationship issues, communication skills, lifestyle changes, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, career challenges, and much more. He has taken his passion for helping others, and experience in the construction industry, and has been addressing the issue of mental health in construction in an effort to help change the lives of those working to build our communities by offering training and presentations on Suicide Awareness and Prevention, Conflict Resolution, Communication Skills, and many more.
